i'll rather wait for the G0....cooler means higher overclockability (generally). Quad on cascade at -70c 4.5Ghz region would be rather nice i would say. Don't ya all agree. But then again i hope there isn't any hole in my pocket....

Here's my latest OC
![]() Still have some room for a little bit more. Abit IP35-E surpassed my expectation....didn't expect it to be such a good clocker...though it had some cold bug issue with the temps. I have to use a temp probe for proper temp reading. Gonna stick with 4.4Ghz for daily gaming. |

well, there won't be any roasted bbq coz the temps is well below freezing point. Coretemp or any other software doesn't read the temps right. I am running on cascade cooling which brings the temperature to around -61c idle and -55c on load. As for the VID theory...it doesn't really apply that procs with low VID are good clockers, some procs with high VID such as 1.325v are proven to be good clockers as well.

QUOTE(commanderz @ Mar 1 2008, 08:44 PM) ic.........sorry >.< i`m newbie on overclocking pc.......so the Aquagate S1 is prefect for oc until 3.0-3.2 @@?.....gonna buy it and try to OC later.....^^... u can try using the stock cooler to OC first...it should be good for 3.4Ghz. Using an Aquagate for just 3.2Ghz would be an overkill. Try for 3.6ghz instead...thats where it truly shines. |
