I ve set 1.485 in Bios on My ABit Ip35-E... btw these temps are under a non air con base. anyways this is my result for 24/7 usage. : [attachmentid=463991] Is all feature in CPU are all set off?

QUOTE(yonglee2k @ Jun 26 2008, 12:22 AM) Here is my q6600 O/C to 3.7Ghz prime95>7hrs stable, quad damn hot over 1.5v i think need at least bump 1.6v to get 3.8-3.9Ghz I think this is normal for 1.6v for 3.8-3.9Ghz if you want more than 4 hours of orthos stable.

I set the vcore as 1.2650 and able to achieve 400*8 FSB as 3.2Ghz. Happy with the result.
Unfortunately, I required 1.5125v to achieve 400*9 3.6Ghz to get LinX stable for 25 times.

QUOTE(*-a|i3n-* @ May 29 2009, 11:05 AM) i got set before 1.2+ forget how much. it running stable no prob at all swt surely hot untill ...? what heatsink u using? I am using custom water cooling with a 2*120MM Radiator. in 3.2Ghz, max core temperature are 60c to 64c in 3.6Ghz, max core temperature are 80c to 89c. I think this is the best unless I want to upgrade my WC. I felt 3.6Ghz is very hot. During afternoon time, my room getting very hot. This is not what I want for 24/7 setup. Hence, I returned to 3.2Ghz.

i still stuck with Q6600. Think to move to Q9550 before moving completely new platform with I7.
Honestly speaking, Q6600 is a great CPU for OC.
