I believe you're using Intel stock heatsink right?
This is what I did, following what's the guide provided.
At 1.35v, we can do 320x9, which is 2.88Ghz.
So I raise the voltage to 1.40v, and the FSB to 335x9, I get 3.01GHz.
But the proc will get hotter eventually, which is around 75'C +/-. shakehead.gif

Wanted to survey what's the max voltage you all usually go until with Q6600?

I'm kinda new in overclocking world, and now my Q6600 is running 335x9 at 1.4v, and I know its not so suitable cause the voltage is too high already ... I think.
I wanna ask, what will happen if the voltage has been set too high?
