How much can we overclocked Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz with it's standard cooler?

Harddisk : Maxtor 320GB SATA 2
Rom-Drive : Asus 20X DVDRW +/- SATA
Casing : Cooler Master CM690
Power Supply : Cooler Master Extreme Power 600W

err...need to ask abit question.........is the cooler master Aquagate S1 good to overclock 2.4ghz to 3.0 or 3.2 ghz......@@?

best for kentsfield quads would be 975 BX2 aka Bad axe 2

Here's mine... I dunno why my Q6600 is still that hot..aihh..even on my IFx14, the temp reaches 65c at load, idle I can get 39-40. I ve set 1.485 in Bios on My ABit Ip35-E... btw these temps are under a non air con base.

hi guys. want to ask for some advices here.
i just got myself a Q6600 G0 rig with stock heatsink fan, 2x1GB DDR1066 Kingmax, Asus P5E, CM Real Power Pro 550W in a gigabyte 3d aurora full alu casing and good cable management.

i want to know if i use the stock hsf for now, at what frequency is it save to push my cpu to? i'm running it in a non air-cond environment.
is 3.0GHz doable? will it be ok with stock hsf and tuniq tx2?

if it is, what is the recommended vcore for the cpu, the bus speed, multiplier, divider etc to achieve it?

Yea, that was on Abit IP35 Pro. However it can't even boot @ 3.5Ghz with P5E even having same full load 1.36v as it was stable on IP35 Pro. Gonna do some pencil mod for vdroop see if it helps or not.

3.2ghz no problem bro, at 3.7ghz im using vcore a lot higher which is not good for them.. its just a test run to see wether it can run at that speed or not..

Will try again when i get my new waterblocks, no worries i will post the results here.

so far been using 3.of course right now i just own one.Well as for right now,the one with VID 1.2625 manage to get around 3.7 at 1.45 vcore. was wondering,what is the safest vcore to run 24/7?

Improve of 5-6c after lapping but still my Q6600 @ 3.4g voltage @1.4 only but temp seem a bit high at 61-60-55-52c full load. Is it possible that applying too much of AS5 can be the cause of high temp.
