you can turn the option off in some motherboard......
but serious it good, u can get it stable at 3.8ghz, but prolong run at 1.55v is rather dangerous |

QUOTE(ir1z @ Jan 9 2008, 08:09 AM) did u change the nb and sb volt as well when u did this? as u said before u tried even up to 1.55 but couldnt get it to stable before? ah, i never said i tried up to 1.55, thats someone else, the max i went was 1.48V, it was stable for prime95 at that voltage. anything below is not.and yes i did change the nb/sb volt. my current idle temp is <50C @ 1.45V, but unstable for prime, its stable for normal use, no such crashes or BSOD, gaming, superpi, everest all ran smoothly, no prob. |

My Vcore is at 1.2375V. I took it off the auto and set it at 1.2375V. But while on load and idling its at 1.18V from Lavalys Everest. OCed it to 333x9 = 3.0Ghz..
Temps around 35-45 on idle and 55-65 on full load. Btw, using the shitty ass Stock Intel HSF... Going to change to Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme with Silverstone FM123 and MX-2 Artic Cooling thermal paste. My Casing is Antec P182 and my 3 fans are set to Medium setting... Here is the Screenshot of my Q6600 [attachmentid=378754] This post has been edited by bernardryan: Jan 13 2008, 11:46 PM |
