At 1.52 vcore with full load 68c only really admire you guys, me at 3.2g 1.325 vcore quad prime full load touching 70c. How did you manage that, Is it wc

When open side casing the temp drop by around 5-6c

hmm i tried to OC my Q6600 to 3.6GHz but i cant get it to be stable for more than 5 minutes stress testing using prime. Raised the vcore till 1.475 (in bios). The full load temp almost 70C.

its stable at 3.2GHz though

it might be 60c idle...coretemp might be 70ish

1.5v for under 40c whats ur max core temp? happen to reach 80C?

I hardly believe my eyes that you guys can get so low temperature at such high voltage, me at 3.2G, voltage 1.325, temperateure fluctuating at 59-66c when doing quad prime, how did you guys do to get so low temp.

I guess your Q6600 VID is very high and not good OVERCLOCKER ! coz already 1.3 !!!!

Haven't try so... re-apply the TIM would really need some effort to be done since my casing doesn't come with motherboard tray ... And I wonder how should be Tunix-TX2 TIM to be applied on Xigmatek HDT-S1283 to provide the best performance possible?

I tried something new on how I apply the TIM... I spread a thin layer on the IHS but not fully covering the whole IHS up and then I drop a small dollop in the middle before I hump the HSF on. Guess this isn't a good combo method?

the temp of the air inside casing is not the same as room temp .. will definitely be higher inside the casing no matter how much ventilation .. normal maa coz inside casing got lots of stuff producing hot air .. hahahaha

how far Q6600 G0 can go using stock HSF??
im kinda shortage right now..which HSF is affordable around RM100-200??
