The official MY set ones tend to be a bit pricey, even during sale you'd probably get RM200-RM300 off at best. The parallel imported sets are cheaper, but best buy them from a reputable seller with good feedback for peace of mind.

Whats the difference between local and imported set?

Depends on what size of phone and display you are looking for. 8T would be smaller in size.
*
Smaller but flat screen, makes it cheaper. Better camera but other than that, is it the same as 8pro or 8?

I like the OnePlus system and frequent update. The battery and camera is also performing well. The only thing I hate is that the phone is heavy. Damn uncomfortable holding with one hand.

One more thing, I always encounter screen hang when browsing.

I'm using samsung note 9 and i do get screen hang when browsing using chrome. I think it's the app, not the phone.

Exactly the problem for OnePlus - after sales service for official sets not that much better compared to AP sets.
I'd probably pick the 8T, unless you're deep into Samsung services like DeX and S-Pay.

Only Spay. Been using samsung since Note 2..

I already place my FE order before 8T go live. coming from Pixel 3. watched the entire live last night and few reviews between Pixel 5, FE and 8T, tough decision. If 8T base model 8g128gb is place same price 3.3k, it justify my FE purchase as higher 256gb, SD card but I dun need it with internal 256gb, IP68 is a must to me, wireless charging (I dun use it) and a handy zoom lens. not to say that I still got EPP discount which is a no brainier decision for me. 😀
*
Shall wait for the price release then.. though i saw 8 pro in shopee for 3149.. hmm..

Yes, camera wise, Samsung always have the edge over OnePlus, even though the latter has made substantial improvements over the past couple of years. So if photography is a priority, I'd probably still pick the Samsung S20 FE. Can't really go wrong with either, actually. Books down to personal preference in the end.

I think 8 pro would be cheaper by now, probably same price to 8T?

Super cheap wah.

Fff. I really like the designs of one plus 8T but I like the Samsung s20FE consistent performance and the camera is much better. :<

Why not 8 pro?

I think her EPP refers to Employee Purchase Program.
Therefore got additional discounts

Hi guys,

I have read somewhere in FB group that people suggesting to get 8 Pro instead of 8T. But i have compare those two and 8 p\Pro only wins on ip68 and wireless charging.

Curved or flat screen is individual preference though. And the gap is like almost RM800. So your comments? Better go for 8 pro or 8T?
*
I'm also deciding between 8T and 8pro.
Another difference is 4k screen vs 1080p, if you don't mind.
And camera. 8pro should be better camera, no?

If camera is not important for you, then why not asus rog 3 biggrin.gif
