does this apply if i do not subscribe to any data plans? i am a maxis prepaid user with an active line but i am not on any data plans..

is it 6am to 6pm redemption then valid for 1 day or.......

Maxis (or at least on my Hotlink) is seriously throttling speed during the day hours of MCO. getting speeds of about 2.5Mbps through the day. Only morning 5-7am I am noticing back to a good 40Mbps.

Possibilities is there..
I also feels it's slower during the 8am-6pm period... After that little okay.. after like 1am quite fast... |

From the feedback I got..
All Telco in Malaysia faced slower speed during the free data period.. Until some want to cancel the subscription (those Telco that give auto renewal).... |
