15K-20k. Choose a hospital/Doc that got track record of natural birth.

Twins will be delivering one month earlier, and triplets will be delivering two months earlier. Hence, there will be a tendency for pre-term delivery which will end up in NICU. Just beware of falling into financial trouble if you are not from a wealthy family. In case of any emergency, straight go to government hospital will save your pocket.

Thanks alot Danny.

Yes you are right, and i am planning to go grab my buku merah for any emergency case.
If things going smooth, then everything will be done in private hospital and that't the reason i am preparing the budget for private first smile.gif

Really appreciate all the advice provided smile.gif

its not easy to carry twins, my friend got to limit her movement n most of the time on the bed cause of some complication (i forgotten what) from just few months till delivery.

not all will be the same but better safe than sorry. hope u do not misunderstand me, not pouring cold water just be extra careful

Congratulation bro!

My wife is having twins with 16 weeks now and we did it by IVF from Sunfert. We was plan to go Hospital Putrajaya for FPP as my friend recommended, we made the appointment for the briefing and suddenly Covid-19 happens and they called that no longer take in for FPP patient.

Now I'm struggling to go Sunway as Sunfert Dr. recommends or government hospital. As the Dr. told me if the babies need to be in NICU for longer, we can swift them to govt hospital to avoid high billing after they delivered. If I decide to take his advise I think to budget out of 20k.

You are right to get the buku merah first just in case for any emergency, otherwise govt hospital don't take in without buku merah.

Which Dr. are you planing in Sunway or SJMC?

All the best bro

13 weeks still got time to choose your doctor. I strongly suggest Gov unless you have a very good parachute because NICU in private is no laughing matter. C sec delivery charges is easy to estimate and plan for but you cannot plan the duration or extra circumstances in the NICU and it can be very costly. 20k upfront with another 20k as backup.

Do you really want to transfer your babies when they already needed to be in NICU because you're worried about the bill ? Or worse the private hospital don't think you can afford it and ask you to move. No offense to Gov doc and nurses but when you transfer there from private they will be very judgemental like no money already ah, kenape tak stay at private etc.
