As per title, I don't know why Disney films in 4k that I have downloaded all seem off with the colour.
When I first watched Toy story 4 in 4k on my PC, I thought to myself "Why does the Colour look so unPIXAR ?"
At first, I just brushed it off as a new art direction.
Then, when I tried to update my entire library to 4k, I've noticed even Toy story 1 colour look like shit.....
Then, when I watched Toy story 4 in 1080p, colour differences look like difference of JAV model in video vs. on cover

So, is Disney lazy or every source of Disney 4k film got scewed over?
below video from jewtuber tell me 4k upscaling can mess with colour and details....so is Disney just upscaling, instead of re-rendering 4k properly?

If the source already 4k, upscale what? No change or up-scaling.

If source is 2k HD, then video is up-scaled by TV or device the source is fed through. Why blame Disney for up-scaling? Nothing to do with source video

There is different when using fake hdr monitor and true fald hdr monitor

That's my question.
Where is the source?

If Disney re-rendered everything from beginning to 4k like how South park Studios re-rendered all old episodes to HD, there shouldn't be any colour differences.
Is it something to do with Source of disney films?
Do pipu that bought proper Blu Ray releases of these films get the same toned down colour?
