-Eat healthy foods with a lot of vegetables and healthy fats. Cut on junks food and if possible to cut carbohydrates (is hard especially for elderly).
-exercise daily and even a simple 20-40 minutes walk help in slowing down aging.
-get sunlight(no caps, sunblocks or long sleeve) especially morning for mood and vitamin D.
Then only you add basic supplements like good minerals, vitamins and antioxidants.
-bioavailability magnesium (Dr best high absorption magnesium)
-zinc (bio life)
-vitamin B-Complex (life extension)
-vitamin C (any slow release 1000mg 2-3 times a day)
-vitamin D3 + K (life extension)
-astaxanthin 12mg (Carlifornia gold or sports research)
-Curcumin if they have inflammation pains (longvida or meriva)
The brands in bracket is just a suggestion. Feel free to do research further.
