They tried to skem me, scanned 3 times for 2 items. Watde. Cukur I noticed and went back for a refund. Mafaka even checked all my bags just to make sure even though it was his mistake.

here got matahari as alternative to speedmart. also cheaper than aeon/tesco/giant.

Just bring the item to the cashier to check the actual price before you decide to buy... it always worked with me. If they don't layan, just leave the item at the cashier to teach them a lesson. I've done that so many times because kena from them a few times already. Now no problem. They wiill give in and cooperate..

It's all tied up to personal preference. Price is always an important factor. Now people will go for the cheapest price tag for the same item. That is why speedmart is booming now even before MCO. I know for a fact that they are a good paymaster and always pay their suppliers cash and on time.

Being slow to update the price is not customer problem. This is not a practice allowed. They can put notice that the price changed. It can't be that they change price every day or even once a week. I doubt they buy stock every week since they operate the wholw Malaysia. They have contract price for sure.

At least they can offer return for money exchange. Mine was RM1 extra, but it is not about the amount. Even 20 sen is not legal practice. I just report file report to govt. If more and more people reported the practice, only then I believe action will be taken.

I totally agree. They can be penalised for that. The more people file a report with the KPDNHEP the better. But not all outlets are the same. Some are updated. Some are not.

My area got 6 speedmart. Everytime go, full or people. Before MCO. Now MCO, felt like warzone.
