Hello there.. i m using the 5 gen Ipod video 30G.
Wanna ask tht how long is the battery life? And i noticed my battery indicator always fluctuates (unstable)... Sometimes it will be showing 50% and after a while will show more than 50% (~60%).... Is the battery working well? Weird~

I've noticed this as well. What I found is that the "CPU" of the iPod is most stressed when starting or scrubbing through a video. H264 videos require more CPU power than regular MPEG4 video too. So any time the CPU needs to do work, battery level falls. When I start an H264 video, battery level will fall, but when the movie is running, it gets back to the higher level.

And i notice tht sometimes when i am playing a song and i play around with the menu - scrolling up and down, the ipod will become laggy..
Is it same to u?
