How soon to fill this? After flight ticket bought or can fill a day before we fly?

Hi All Sifus, My family and i are planning for self drive road trip starting at Chubu Nagoya Airport sometime in Mid March 2024.
We plan to drive to Fujinomiya, Lake Kawaguchi, Matsumoto, Takayama and back to Nagoya. This self drive will take about a week with accommodation at the above mentioned Town/City.
May I ask if this drive is possible and what are the things that we should be aware of when driving in Japan.

My itineraries. Please comment/recommend. Thank you for your much appreciated input.

Osaka
Day 1: Dotonburi, Namba. (from afternoon till night since i expect to reach at KIX at around 930am)
Day 2: Kuromon Ichiba Market, Shin Sekai "New World", Shinsaibashi, Pokoemon Cafe, Zauo Fishing Restaurant.
Day 3: Nara Deer Park, Kintetsu Nara Station, Mochi pounding demo street, Free & Easy (not sure where to go yet)
Day 4: USJ whole day
Day 5: checkout early morning and take train to Kyoto

Kyoto
Day 5: Nishiki Market, Kyoto Station
Day 6: Kiyomizu-Dera, Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, Gion, Free & Easy (not sure where else to go yet)
Day 7: Arashiyama-Bamboo Forest, Romantic Train, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Teramachi
Day 8: checkout early morning to take Shinkansen train to Tokyo

Tokyo
Day 8: Shibuya, Nintendo Official Store, Jump Store, Pokemon Center, Gyukatsu Motomura Harajuku
Day 9: Harajuku, Happy Pancake @ Ginza, Tokyo Tower, Shibuya Sky
Day 10: Mount Fuji, free & easy (not sure what to do yet)
Day 11: Sensoji/Asakusa Temple, Ninja Cafe Asakusa, Kura Sushi - Kaiten Belt Sushi, Gundam Factory Yokohama
Day 12: Akihabara, airport back to KL at around 9pm.
I would much appreciate recommendations on what unlimited travel pass/card I should get and any recommended halal places or free pork restaurant, in case the one I stated above served pork.

Also I believe uMobile has Roaming feature at Japan. Does Celcom has? would it be better?

I'm going with my two young kids so most of the places need to be interesting for them. I am very worried they will get bored and ask to go somewhere else.
Which is why I'm not visiting too many shrines/temple/castle/historical places.

Ramen museum...i'm not sure my kids may find it interesting. i mean if not mistaken, we have similar museum in Malaysia at melaka...they were not as enthusiastic as me.

My one week winter Sapporo review

Snow fes are meh, people (mostly tourists) everywhere, roads are super slippery and hard to walk. Almost fall for a few times too. Foods at the event are super duper expensive. IMO see photos on soc med way nicer compared to going to the festival itself. Will probably not go again in the future.

A lot of parks are closed during winter time, beer garden is boring but some of the museums are quite interesting. Going from one place to another is super duper far but that is expected from Hokkaido.

For me the most disappointing is genghis khan at daikokuya. Way too overhyped. The lamb is almost tasteless and the secret sauce is just salty… both soup curry and butter corn ramen are just ok. Ironically the best food I had while here is mcd black pepper nuggets. Also don’t know why they call kaarage as zangi here lol

Saw a lot of bad behaviours prc and hk ppl, have talked to my guesthouse owner and some locals and all of them hate c country ppl but luckily they seem to like Malaysians

Moving on to asahikawa next monday, hopefully the zoo won’t disappoint

Will be driving 7 pax. What vehicle to recommend ya? Plan to rent an Alphard but don't think its 4WD.

Well the zoo was a disappointment, only 3 penguins walking A lot of the animals seems depressed too, small cage for them to walk around. Not to mentioned a lot of section are closed too due to winter. Would not recommend unless specially here for the penguins.

Also saw a lot of prc getting scolded for not following the rules

Not every place in Hokkaido are accessible by public transport eh? Especially Sapporo region?
