As you guys know I work & stay at Japan many many years. This list will be my weekdays lunch & dinner when I was working at Japan. 80% Japanese weekdays meal also. Price from 700 - 1800 Yen. All food in list are taste normal, don't expect any WOW factor....This is Japanese everday meal. Don't later come back write in forum saying Regent Cid recomemded CB taste shop.

Sukiya & Yoshinoya as most of people already knew it, so it won't be inside the list.
Most of the restraurant in list can be found around Japan / Tokyo but I mostly lepak at Ikebukuro.

Taste not the greatest, but compare to 100 years old Sukiyaki restraurant minimum starting at 4000 - 16000 Yen. This Ootoya Sukiyaki just 1490 Yen + unlimited refill of rice.

OT a bit, NAIA absolutely is the worst of the worst airport I've ever experienced, it's already a hair pulling experience for us for a short 4 hours layover
never in my life I would want to transit at NAIA anymore

lol, my PAL flight is coming in 2 days. yeah some minor flight adjustments, but my return flight was cancelled, had to push next day and overnight at MNL .. uhhh..if only for the price

doesnt help that PAL as the national carrier decides to operate out of the lousiest terminal of them all

so my latest flight was PAL to Fukuoka
below my POV
- checking in KLIA was slow (prolly Raya holidays), otherwise, it's smooth n no fuss
- outgoing flight was around 30m later, which is ok
- A321-200. No IFE, seat n pitch is ok. no complaints. i think it slightly roomier than MAS if i can recall
- Food serving was surprisingly fast and efficient. i would have to give it to them for taste and portion. especially to japan destinations. just look at the presentation
- transiting in T1 NAIA, isn't so bad as it seems. yeah, old airport, but you can find places to sit if you know where
- only 2 toilets (economy) at the back. so you can imagine how queued it will be
- prolly the only downside, was transiting time

i would give it 8/10.

will consider it again? for sure, if the prices are a bargain

Just back from my Japan 7 days trip. Went to Seven ATM to withdraw via Wise card, got charged 220 yen for a 90k yen withdrawal.

Japan changed a lot. Now they start embracing digital payments.

End up use only 2k yen, rest is via PayPay Touch N Go and Apple Suica card.
The 2k yen also because some ramen shop in Asahikawa Ramen Alley didn't accept any of it and only cash. Turns out also my worst food in Japan. Very touristy area. Should skip XHS recommendations next time.

Also most eSIM sold in Trip.com rubbish. Can't even exceed 5Mbps.
Only the Japan eSIM Softbank in trip.com line works best. Can go 300Mbps+ 

Tried both batik (Once) and AA (three times), batik land at nrt while AA land at hnd. Batik seat and legroom more comfortable than AA, AA seat and legroom for 7 hours flight is horrible and backpain when arrive. Service wise on the air both not much different since low cost airline. But i do notice that Klia 1 batik staff during check in is more friendly than AA at Klia 2. Both airlines also experienced slight delay when departure but nothing major.

Like what above mentioned as well, if got money better go for ANA, staff is incredible and polite. If book early, ANA round trip can be cheaper than AA and batik. AA/Batik need self add on luggage etc. You can compare all of them using google flights.
