How does the system actually work? Do taxi drivers in Japan use their own cars or are they operating official taxi vehicles? Is there a special app that allows you to communicate directly with the driver? And how do they know your exact arrival time?
Japan is supposed to be safer, right? I’m planning to visit next month with my husband and our daughter, so I’d love to understand how the transport system works and what to expect.
