Anyone knows any travel company that can provide ERFS without joining their package? Since non-guided tour is now allowed.
I am looking for one as wellTravel To Japan V13, Everything you need for a Japan trip!

QUOTE(windstruck @ Oct 7 2022, 08:06 PM) JR Pass not the best unless u travel a lot by Shinkansen. Share your experience after u come back. Me same situation with you You can look into Tokyo Wide Pass for 3 days for Tokyo area see if that suits u.. I'm planning to go Japan in Nov, and use the Tokyo wide pass to go kawaguchiko area https://www.jreast.co.jp/multi/en/pass/tokyowidepass.html P/S: Anyone going after 11 October can give some pointers if Sino+Sino+Pfizer is able to enter without doing PCR test please? Thanks! Plan to enter Jap in 9th Nov for me. Planned Apr 2023 for Kansai trip This post has been edited by Koranshita: Oct 8 2022, 10:26 PM |

Hey guys
I am planning for Kyoto -osaka-trip. Not interested on usj or anytheme park. Seems Osaka is quite boring.. any suggestions where to go nearby Osaka that I can have day trip? (Nara-arima-kobe already in the plan) Wakayama worthy? If I stay there overnight and next day for flight will it be more convenient than staying in osaka down town? Wanna eat cheap fresh seafood! Hey guys
Shizuoka alone will be good for clear Fuji view. Plan to stay in Shizuoka for a day if not going up kawaguchiko for day trip. Or I should spend a day trip in kawaguchiko? I have full 2 days in Shizuoka so still considering if I wanna go up or not. How good is kawaguchiko that die die must go up? Mainly for Fuji and food. |

Gotemba has really nice views of fuji Thanks will search on that!Yamanakako also not too far away, it's the nearest lake to mt fuji, very nice views Many say purposely go up stay a night but end up Fuji not clear for that day hence kinda disappointed. Abit time wasted. I am planning staying near Mishima station |

question on the IC card.
i will be spending more time in kansai area ( JR west) So i should get ICOCA card instead of Suica? Or i can get Suica and use for the whole Japan trip? Start from Narita, end with KIX i wish to keep the card and use for the next trip also https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2359_003.html This post has been edited by Koranshita: Mar 5 2024, 10:49 AM |

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Mar 5 2024, 11:14 AM) You can't get ICOCA at Tokyo. Since you start at Tokyo, your only choice was Suica (welcome). It can't used on next trip. The current plan is: Below either or cash only. ( 7-8 transaction) Unless Tokyo part use cash for transpotation. Buy ICOCA when you reach Kansai. ICOCA can keep for 10 years. Narita > skyliner to Ueno > Numazu station ((via tokaido Line/ Tokyo-ueno line) Numazu station > gotemba> Numazu Numazu station > shin - fuji station > yui station > Numazu -cash The rest of trip is by Overnight bus from Numazu - Kyoto station and the rest is kansai area ( which major ICOCA ) |

Kinda plan all out where and what day
So now is more towards what to do at that area Question, Current plan. Nuzamu - gotemba- take bus to yamanakako. Spend few hours there -.go to kawaguchiko till evening then night time dinner at gotemba. Need to rush back hotel before 10pm. ( Plan to take night bus to Kansai) 1. should I spend more time in yamanakako of I skip this and go to kawaguchiko? We are taking bus so time consuming but I see got kawaguchiko loop bus that why plan to stop in yamanakako for a bit. 2. From Kyoto will rush to arima for a night stay. And check out tomorrow to go to Kobe day trip and Osaka for overnight stay. Should I skip Kobe? And spend more time in arima? |

Going Japan soon
I have submit the arrival thing in the website. Do I need to keep the QR from the website for the immigration to scan? Or I need to redo again when I reach there? |
