JR Limited Express Fuji Excursion will go Kawaguchiko Station using Fujikyu line. Because JR & Fujikyu got agreement. But If you half way get down at Shimoyoshida Station, then from Shimoyoshida Station to Kawaguchiko Station, you need to buy ticket because JR Rail Pass are no longer valid.

There are only one JR Limited Express in entire Japan even using JR Rail Pass also need top up money for extra ticket was JR Limited Express Saphir Odoriko.
JR Rail Pass only covered until Ito Station. From Ito station to Izukyū-Shimoda station need top up another 3k Yen

This the only Train you cannot complete entire journey with using JR Rail Pass on JR Train.

Once you got the JR Rail Pass, you just need to show this ticket at counter, the station staff will open the special gate to let you pass.
If this JR Rail Pass, you no need buy any more train ticket from Machine. JR Rail Pass user using JR Shinkansen & JR Limited Express must get the Seat Reservation & Train Ticket at JR Ticket Office inside Train Station.

If you using JR Local Train such as Chuo Line, Yamanote Line, etc etc.....you just need show your JR Rail Pass at Gate Counter Staff, he will open up the door & let you pass.

If you using JR Limited Express or Shinkansen with JR Rail Pass, first you need to go JR Ticket office. Get the Train ticket & seat reservation ticket printed out first then only walk to gate counter.

Based on my experience, I saw alot of this incident. JR Limited Express are sharing same platform as Local train. I encounter alot foreigners terus boarding the JR Limited Express with JR Rail Pass only . Inside the train kena diao by ticket conductor.

Yeah sadly the JR pass =/= ticket. Its like that time in taiwan eventho bought the HSR 3 day pass i still need to go counter to get stamps + actual ticket for the train staff to check before can enter the train

If holding Malaysian passport, no visa required. Do not need to apply tour, just download MySOS app and filled in all the required fields after u have bought your air tickets and have full address of your hotel.

If u have 3 shots of vaccine, do not need to take PCR test before departure

Those big luggage mentioned in the new rule (2020) are extra big bags u see some Americans or European carry as their holidays are usually 3-4 weeks and some even 2 months. These bags are at least 30%-50% bigger than those u see sold in Shopping center in KL.

If still worried, pop over to any Mr. DIY and get a cheap measuring tape and measure

My 70litre backpack about <140cm. I'm safe. Cant visualise the ones you say 30% - 50% bigger.
