QUOTE(5p3ak @ Aug 30 2024, 07:50 PM) Its not Visa thing. It just like a you want visit Japan, you must sign a paperwork saying let Japan Govt doing deep scan on you, everything. All info they gathering and start evaluate you got any chances will jump aeroplane into Japan. You allow Japan Govt peek into your personnel account see how much money you have. EPF contribution know you are B40 or M40 or T20. B40 chances going in start decrease as Japan govt think you will jump aeroplane. This post has been edited by RegentCid: Aug 31 2024, 12:31 AM 5p3ak liked this post

Is this schedule too pack? Any recommended place to visit? Too packed. Just focus either Kansai or Tokyo. Cherry Blossom, prefer Kyoto over Tokyo. |

QUOTE(marfccy @ Sep 17 2024, 11:16 PM) thenks boss Never ever drive on winter without AWD car unless you super experienced. Must have AWD. Even compact car also need AWD version. Toyota Yaris got AWD version, Honda Fit / Jazz also got AWD version.completely zero in snow driving experience, im 90% sure ill suffer and 10% learn new skill but the convenience of driving is very tempting cause you get alot of luxury to drive here there on my own time was targeting like a compact 1.5cc type car with winter tyres. no AWD tho No winter driving exp, i advise you dont take the risk specially Jan - Feb. Once Accident, all your vacation plan bye bye. Dec or March will be easy to start practice winter driving. Not yet learn how to walk already want learn how to run (Jan - Feb). Icing slippery road are way different than raining road. This post has been edited by RegentCid: Sep 18 2024, 12:33 AM |

QUOTE(marfccy @ Sep 17 2024, 11:37 PM) right? too much chance of error and really grave one. but thinking really hard on the convenience part. i kinda spooked by cases where people said they stuck at places without any transportation available, and they having zero knowledge on japanese made it even harder for them to find a way out of it If no transpotation means the road or rail are suspended due to snow. If road was closed even youself driving also stuck. Japan winter, most reliable transport is Bus. Buses wil always run as long the road are not closed. No matter how big winter storm, Japan buses services will never stop. Those driver are all God level. ceo684 liked this post

QUOTE(applesmiley @ Sep 27 2024, 11:35 AM) Uber & Didi in Japan are actually Taxi too. Using Uber & Didi are actually more expensive because adding 500Yen surcharge as calling taxi. E-hailing driver in Japan consider as professional job. The training are same standard as taxi and need to take license. Those uber driver need go thru all same standard as taxi driver, might well become Taxi driver with extra Uber ability only. Uber in Japan are actually called "Taxi caller" |

QUOTE(tohff7 @ Sep 27 2024, 02:00 PM) since we are talking about taxi and transportation. perhaps just want to ask a question for confirmation Got overnight at Arima Onsen? Ask the Ryokan arrange taxi for you with extra surcharge. should be easy to book or get a taxi in Arima Onsen? Saw from GO app there's few cars there la usually. Need to get from Arima Onsen to Itami Airport to catch 2pm domestic flight to Narita Tokyo (then 5pm flight back to KL). Arima Onsen Osaka Liner only got 1 bus reaching Itami Airport at 12.45pm, cutting it quite close since it's advised to reach at least 1hr early for passengers with luggage check-in for connecting flights. Infornt of Arima Onsen Station always go Taxi standby. Go App are calling taxi app. But need to pay extra surcharge by calling taxi coming to your spot.
