Anyone has tried HKexpress to fly to Japan? Care to provide your opinions about HKexpress flight?

I also wonder any issue/extra payment for transiting in HKIA?

i tried HKexpress from Haneda -> HK and back to HND..wouldn't recommend tbh unless your top priority is cheapest flight with almost no luggage

Then just fly to NRT lor, it's further than Haneda sure, but not like super ultra far, skyliner or NEX reaches the city in ~1 hour.

I used to fly MAS fairly regularly back in the day. I believe lotsa folks here fly MAS from KUL-NRT. They're okay. However, I prefer the JAL and ANA service any day of the week. It's head and shoulders more consistent and satisfying than MAS.

I think the JAL economy seat layout (2-3-2), width and pitch matter more than model age in economy. Biggest disadvantages are slightly noisier cabin compare to MAS A330/350 and older IFE systems. However, I'll let you decide against JAL vs MAS service and food quality wise.

yes bro. i have oredi bought Mas tic last year just to try out their new A330 Neo. I found MAs 's inflight service is better than SQ. No comment on JAl as i have never taken their flights before.

kinda similar to AA without the delay, carry on luggage very limiting, nickel and dime u to death. in haneda at the gate, they weight every single baggage n carry on n check your ticket whether it's according to what u paid for and the size.

How are their baggage and food costs compared to Air Asia?

Haha... thats the norm for budget airlines. Not to mention their check in counters are at the furthest end in the airport and so are the boarding gates. Its the same everywhere in the world. laugh.gif

Geez... very AA pattern, seems like not worth to get such lousy service.

Paying 1k more to SQ to have more humane service and in-flight meal seems a better deal. sweat.gif

By far only 2 keycards given but i always travel in 2. Believe they are basing on the number of adults checking in. Say if you have a twin double bed with 4 adults checking in, likely you will get 4 keycards.
