Thanks for the advice, unfortunately i will land in narita hence these are the 3 options i have currently. Last i was thinking of staying at narita hotel for one night first before heading to sapporo, now maybe i will directly go to sapporo after landing in narita.. just scare that custom/immigration will be long line and delay from klia.. also not sure will be too exhausted or not I will take Air Do as main, Peach as backup. QUOTE(Coldf3ar @ Dec 9 2024, 01:13 PM) hi. for me, i need to start wearing gloves when it drops to 8 degrees celcius and below, otherwise my hand will start to dry, crack, and bleed.im going to japan again but this time on jan 24 which is much much colder compare to last year march. should i bring glove? should bring lesser shirt as less sweat during this period? location : nagoya and i heard its quite a hassle to bring our prepack meal(kembara) in there as japan quite strict on this in this few months. isit correct? bcoz try to search around pork/alcohol free restaurant macam very less compare to osaka so, you can check whether the temperature will drop to such level. i've been bringing food to Japan without any issues. I have brought in half-eaten buns, half-eaten burgers, etc. in my hand carry before. |

QUOTE(Coldf3ar @ Dec 9 2024, 01:13 PM) hi. its recommended to cover as much skin as possible during the winter months esp deep into January, even if you can take the cold your skin will dry out and peel very fast unless you generously cover with lotion or moisturisersim going to japan again but this time on jan 24 which is much much colder compare to last year march. should i bring glove? should bring lesser shirt as less sweat during this period? location : nagoya and i heard its quite a hassle to bring our prepack meal(kembara) in there as japan quite strict on this in this few months. isit correct? bcoz try to search around pork/alcohol free restaurant macam very less compare to osaka as for the prepacked meal, one of the main issues if you ask me isnt the food itself, but the heater pack. some said airlines dont allow for carry on only, but some said even check in not allowed as the heater pack considered too volatile i would suggest bringing those prepacked meals that do not have heater packs, or remove them beforehand. you can easily boil to reheat or microwave it when in JP Coldf3ar liked this post

Just back from my Japan 7 days trip. Went to Seven ATM to withdraw via Wise card, got charged 220 yen for a 90k yen withdrawal.
Japan changed a lot. Now they start embracing digital payments. End up use only 2k yen, rest is via PayPay Touch N Go and Apple Suica card. The 2k yen also because some ramen shop in Asahikawa Ramen Alley didn't accept any of it and only cash. Turns out also my worst food in Japan. Very touristy area. Should skip XHS recommendations next time. Also most eSIM sold in Trip.com rubbish. Can't even exceed 5Mbps. Only the Japan eSIM Softbank in trip.com line works best. Can go 300Mbps+ This post has been edited by Icehart: Dec 17 2024, 08:38 AM |
