Cancel because of Pandemic. MAS still got direct flight to Kansai. Currently Japan are closing the border and limit the flight into Japan. Japan currently open international flight through Narita only. ANA & JAL (Code Sharing MAS thru One World) are offering one flight per week to Narita.
All International flight going Japan / Transit at Japan only at Narita International Airport.

Nagoya had nothing to offer. Except fried chicken wing People go Nagoya because of surrounding only. People touch down in Nagoya mostly head to Gero / Takayama / Toyama / Iseshi immediately.
New look of train to universal studio/nintendo world
Without the massive crowds and lightning at night at Dotonbori, it would never be the same again. I'm pretty sure many of the shops and businesses would have closed down for good.
I was doing some research and found out a lot of hostels have closed down, including one I stayed in a few years back. When Japan opens again hopefully they will be able to start business again.
At one point i wanted to buy hahaha but luckily checked the online reviews & video. They aren't very good decided to save my money instead. Might as well get Nakiryu Tan Tan Men or Tsuta's instant ramen (or is it soba).

I think those seriously depend on foreign tourist will be really hard hit while those have large local (hidden from typical tourist) following will still be around.
Heck even the Robot Restaurant (I'm not a fan of it) also closed down. I remember it was promoted heavy toward tourist (Omotenashi travel guide for example) & locals are not really into it.

I guess it will be the same in most tourists destinations. No massive crowds, no long open queues and ultimately less attractions opened, less night markets etc.. It will never be the same again. We will see.
Robot Restaurant in Shinjuku? No I didn't go in when I saw the entry fees was like 7000 to 8000 yen which to me is like a tourist trap.
