Is it currently possible to travel to japan?
My trip supposed to be next month but untill now didnt receive any information regarding flight status from airasia..

Border looks like not going to reopen until 2021

Do we wait for AA/AAX to cancel or we should ask for the "refund/credit" ?

AirAsia & Cathay Pacific are no refund policy airlines.
You only can reschedule flight date.

just wait for them to cancel. then you can proceed to request for credit refund. no cash or credit care refund at the moment

What do you guys do, my flight with MAS to Japan coming up in November.

But to change the travel date to another date next year, prices of flight ticket all expensive. No promo ticket price. If change need to pay about 1 K.

Some more not sure if next year still can travel.

It enrich redemption ticket - cannot cancel or get travel voucher.

Yup unfortunately no cancellation even just to refund the fuel surcharge........

In my enrich redemption ticket to Japan this October, they open date the ticket for me.

next Travel date: before 30th June 2021

Ticket must be confirmed before 31st December 2020. need to top up if there is fare difference.

Did you manage to find a suitable date to postpone your travel to?

My travel date is suppose to be middle Nov. So far browsing, the travel price shown next year more expensive than my ticket price. have to probably pay Rm1000 if want to postpone.

They did check for me before open date the ticket. i also require to top up around RM800.

So, i asked them just open date first and see.

so bad, need spend more
and MAS is clever, before the Olympic period
i believe May/June is low season in japan?

even airasia credit account, can use in 365 730 days

As of 25 Sept, AA revised their 'change flight policy' extending it to 31 Dec 2020. But when I want to change my upcoming Oct flight to Dec, there is no flight available in Nov-Dec 2020...AA is really trying to cheat us =_=
Anyone flying off to Fukuoka next month like me? I still haven't gotten any email on flight cancellation....
frustrated that I can't move my flight...

In another week, it would have been 1 year ago I was in Fukuoka and Nagasaki.... how time flies and the world changed since.

It’s a safe bet to say any travelling to Japan this year is highly unlikely to happen tourism wise.
