By the way, are there anyways to check the prices of Shinkansen, says for example: Osaka to Kyoto or Osaka to Tokyo.
A simple google search showed me that Osaka to Kyoto would cost me about 1400 yen about RM50. But some even shows me up to RM300? For a 15 minutes ride? HUH?
So i just wanna get a better accuracy, just to account into my budget.

Thanks for the info. One more question, usually can I buy the shinkansen tix from Osaka to Tokyo? as I see there's a lot of trains to Tokyo, was wondering can I get the tix when i'm there since I've yet decided on the time?
i used Shinkansen "smartEX app" to book & choose my reserved seat.
correct me if i'm wrong - reserved seat, u need to take the specific train at the specific time. but if you missed it, u can take next train but on the unreserved seat car this time.
unreserved seat - any of the shinkansen train, any time as long as within that day (some say within 3days) but no guarantee seat for you at the unreserved car. it'll be on who can get the seat first. which is why if u get on the train from the end of the station like tokyo or shin-osaka, you'll most probably can get a seat for the unreserved train.
this is based on my understanding from my limited online research so far.

Can but no needed. Booked Shinkansen tickets online are one of most dumbest thing in Earth.
Not necessary. Very less Japanese taking Bus to Kawaguchiko. Because most will be self driving from Tokyo, not far away plus Japanese prefer train.
Taking Express bus from Shinjuku Station are one of most inconvenience thing.
https://www.kousokubus.net/JpnBus/enmay i know why u think booking shinkansen online are dumb?
i booked mine through their app...is it also dumb?

i'm planning to buy the bus ticket to lake kawaguchiko or one of it's surroundings area. what other method would u recommend? shinkansen train? maybe i'll take this one my way home....trying to keep my transportation cost minimal, if possible.
my worry is not fighting for the same bus ticket wif the local Japanese. but wif the other tourist. seems like the Chinese are coming in like flocks during this week.
