Me and the wife have planned IT for Hokkaido for 8 days. We wanted to check what people's itinerary and maybe tweak our plans

Is the Rail Pass worth it if going around hokkaido like Otaru, Noboribetsu, Hakodate? basically plan right now is always go back to Sapporo at night but still considering doing Hokadate last and then spend a night or two there before heading south to Osaka (either by plane or train but train is less priority as need to switch trains after arriving in Tokyo)
