if can, avoid those with remotes. always circuit board rosak

imo DEKA non remote with fiber blade best value now

I do agree to some point .. my remote is still working after 9 year ... thing is the tv remote and home media player remote will trigger the fan somehow rclxub.gif Fan speed and fan rotation.

Fan is not air con.
You can run ac fan at a lower wattage.
In fact it is only rated 82w max.
Even if you run it 24/7 at highest speed, that is 82x24x30x0.4/1000=rm23.61 a month. How much can you save? Rm10?
Infact ac fan should be more efficient because you don't have power loss in the inverter.
Not everything needs to be inverted.

Yea, plus always read ceiling fans with remote control got problem, just don't feel confident long term reliability.

My house all KDK with wall control, at least 20 years. Still running fine.

With ceiling fans, the very basic is all you need. Power, prrfftt, as you've calculated, the savings is too negligible to justify cost.

normal fan is AC.
advantage with DC fan were it is more power saving and allowing to have more fan speed control.

disadvantage is too many electronic parts and expensive initial cost.

How much money/power can one save on a fan?
Air cond i understand... but fan?

Just DIY repair la... so easy what. Open few screw, take out the board, change capacitor, good for another 2 year.

Yes. I DIY replaced those capacitors. Working with no issues after than for the past 8 years.
But of coz I'm using those good capacitor, don't just get the cheap ones. Asked for the good ones.
