Fan is not air con.
You can run ac fan at a lower wattage.
In fact it is only rated 82w max.
Even if you run it 24/7 at highest speed, that is 82x24x30x0.4/1000=rm23.61 a month. How much can you save? Rm10?
Infact ac fan should be more efficient because you don't have power loss in the inverter.
Not everything needs to be inverted.

I do agree to some point .. my remote is still working after 9 year ... thing is the tv remote and home media player remote will trigger the fan somehow    Fan speed and fan rotation.

normal fan is AC.
advantage with DC fan were it is more power saving and allowing to have more fan speed control.

disadvantage is too many electronic parts and expensive initial cost.
