i think dc fan heavier mounting is different.

panasonic and KDK use the same factory in Malaysia btw, panasonic appears to be slightly cheaper also~

pana/kdk.

my dc fan near 3 years, still working well.
the only downside were panasonic give short warranty and their blade tends to be shorter (not a problem for me though)

I'm using the Panasonic DC fan.
Switch on 24x7. For the past 10 months
Because I got a dog in the house.

Still silent and good.

what is DC fan vs normal ceiling fan? or is DC fan a normal ceiling fan?

Question.. why need to spend so much for dc type fan?

I also interested. But need to consider short pipe since ceiling height quite low

normal fan is AC.
advantage with DC fan were it is more power saving and allowing to have more fan speed control.

disadvantage is too many electronic parts and expensive initial cost.

got Marvel ceiling fan or not?

Panasonic and KDK is same... even the design is similar. So just choose the cheaper between this two

KDK or Panasonic - both easily last > 5 years eh
