Anyone getting additional charge while purchasing games/stuff on steam?
Made a purhcase for iceborne for RM98.25. But my bank charge me RM105.19.
Happen to me on my second purchase. But my friends didnt have any additional charge on there purchase.

As announce last month I think all digital will be charges SST....

I just find it odd cause it didnt have any additional cahrges few days ago. Or Last few months, Only these few days.
While my friends also didnt get any additional charges on the same day as me.

As nowday I seldom buy games as got too many backlog to play....

Bank denied the charge and say its the merchant.
I checked with steam customer service they also say they only receive RM98.25 as listed on the digital receipt.
I will call the bank again today and ask for explaination.

USD to MYR exchanges rate?

I doubt that's the issue since steam is lisitng the price in MYR.
See if any other members have the same issue or its just me or my bank.

Is your steam account originally under MY region?

As i mention above. I can understand if the site price listing in USD or anything else but MYR.
But steam is listing MYR currency as their pricing. And im the only one getting additional among my friends.
Bank is CIMB btw. And there were no additional charges last week as well.

Not just iceborne. I purchase some cheap games for testing. Also got additional charges as well. My steam account is always in malaysia. I never change the region once.

STEAM list in MYR based on conversion from USD, but they bill in USD to your credit card...

But still doesnt make sense. Why its suddenly charging me extra now. And not to mention im the only one getting chrage extra.

You can check your SMS once you spend, usually STEAM charge in USD and there is a straight conversion to MYR in the SMS
