Was wondering when you'd show up. But i can't say i'm surprised by the results either lol.

The drivers are still a bit rough, but so are NV's. I don't expect the situation to change much over time.

like ikanayam said, drivers are not smoothened out yet, well like they ever was a smooth driver from either ati or NV >___>""

BUT!!!!!!
NV has had a loong head start compared to ATI for driver smoothing and optimizations, so we have yet to see the full potential of either cards in dx10 to be demonstrated

Have they really? NV didn't have a vista driver working till WAY after the cards were launched, and even now they are still buggy as hell. So if someone says AMD has a lot of potential in the drivers, i'll say it's the same for NV.

yala, thats why i said we have yet to see the full potential of either cards in dx10 to be demonstrated coz both are just as buggy, but ati drivers(atleast for catalyst 7.6) has a bug in games. But either NV or ati dx10 cards are not fully utilized to run dx10 games YET, due to driver bugs =/

try this, play fear and do the ingame bench, and then come back out and rename fear.exe to fearme.exe or whatever u want (dot) exe, u will see a 5~10% fps increase in average fps from the bench. its a bug in catalyst optimization code =/

8500GT is a slow card , dude . 16 steam processors ( lowest sp in nVidia 8 Series family ) .
Even 8600Gt is not fast enough to play real DX10 games tongue.gif

whatever, it pawns HD2400/2600, so who pawned who?

Btw, there are three lower cards in G8 series, 8400/8300/8200. Get it straight.
