Hey guys,

was thinking of removing some rails from my Silverstone Strider SST-ST400 PSU as i don't use them.

PCI-E
Floppy
etc

Was thinking of just removing them instead of having them clutter my space.
Do you guys think it's possible?

Too bad mine doesn't have a modular design

i would say, juz leave them there and hiding them is a better option. aint worth wreaking the warranty

oh really ar.. hmm if i take them out, i can put them back on isn't it?

you have to open the psu case it it'll tear the warranty sticker by supplier on top of 1 of the screws there / or psu cover..

but zamree, i tot silverstone only provides 3yr warranty for their st56zf and above products, and the rest are 1 yr warranty? i might be wrong though x_x

and yea, the shop which sold me the silverstone psu didnt put any stickers on the screws lol

yes u can remove them....but that involves de-soldering the cables from the PSU board. which of course will void ur warranty. and if u wanna put it back...u have to solder it back nicely.

seriously...spend sometime doing cable management .

If still under warranty posible la dont take out
first. After expired then take out la..
