Just back from Suntec City and a late dinner. Well, IMHO... there were not damage dealers in CT. And the early ganks didn't earn them much on the advantage. China team's last items were beyond the reach of CT... CT tried on 2nd and 3rd Roshan but kena caught and caused them disadvantages... Anyway, was preparing a write-up, perhaps will be up tomorrow with video and photos. Just post up one photo here first... QUOTE(Sanko @ Aug 6 2007, 01:12 AM) Actually i think they lost partly because of SK too. when RoA tried to gangbang BB, they never pursue further when BB runs most likely because afraid of SK+Blink+Epi. At least 4-5 times such scenario occur. watch the soon to be release reply, let's see you all can notice it or not? Yes, I noticed that. But you have to admit that China's backup was good, remember the Silencer's global silence that saved the Chinese heroes like, maybe 2-3 times? Perhaps CT was afraid of SK's burrow strike back with silencer's global silence + back-up "from nowhere". I do think that the commentator was a bit biased. And, they declared that they can't reveal any possible ganking or movement, yet they did "announce" when some heroes picked up rune, recharged with bottle, number of heroes that were on their ways to control lane (sometimes), exsitance of observer wards at several spots and bla bla bla... But I think all players were wearing headphone that blocks away the comments right, weren't they?

QUOTE(Squidward @ Aug 6 2007, 11:20 AM) i think this game also exposed the weakness of sven as carry hero. Sven is too clumsy and slow. He seem to spend too much time trying to walk to a hero. Also the godstrength took almost 2 second delay to set up. At one point, I saw sven chasing the warlock around, while silencer decimates the rest of his team. I was standing beside Viper's display monitor that day. He has farmed well indeed, but chose to play defensively (dagger for escape, not for offensive most of the time). He went for hood and dagger, with a total of 4500 spent without adding any damage... I have watched several games from europe which saw Viper as the major damage dealer. Wonder why...

QUOTE(Cho_Hakkai @ Aug 7 2007, 01:23 AM) I attend the event. After the competition, I overheard some people at the toilet saying that Malaysia's team focus too much on heroes while China focus on the base. CT had a very good start but they made a mistake by buying low lvl item while china buy a lot of high lvl item. Agree on that. Some of the Chinese players just chose to get 3rd level items first.
