That's just proton, change a bit here n there, call it a new car.
Proton really phailed for me.

I believe from the general public who doesn't think much about proton, this type of changes won't really help proton boost up their sales, besides I was hoping was a significant change in terms of engine type, body shape and even the interior still some similiar Gen-2 look and feel.

Forget it, If they can't come out something more drastic than persona, they deserve to failed, bankrupt and slaughtered by other car make.

I myself driving a continental car. Not to say I bash proton just because its local made. IMO
I just hate the way government protect Proton and Mas, etc. If trully a car manufacturer is to stand on their own, the government must practise open market policy where the only way to survive is to be the best and improve themselves. They must improve by being better than other car make if not they'll die in open market. The government must detact themselves from their affiliates retail partner.

What irks me is to think Proton couldn't really be bothered probably due to the mindset that even if things goes wrong, they still have their grandfather protecting their sorry ass with money. Afaik, where's the urgency to be the best of the best? FYI there ppl who work in Proton actually work like gohmen department ppl, slow and lazy.
Let the gomen protect them, lets see how long they can protect and drain the rakyat money for nothing.

Dude you don't need to assume, dollar and sense can tell you whats going on. Besides I know people who work in there.

true ehough there ARE people who tried to improve things but upper management is all about politics. Look at UMNO's mindset then think about Proton, go figure. They are blardy replicating the desease of corruption over in proton.
