what's wrong with that? if you consider City and Vios without tax, it IS supposed to compete with those cars. It's like that in the export market where Protons are not protected. Sadly they're not doing well because we all know why. Let's hope the Sedan will change that trend

Perodua Myvi is the Sedan's closest competitor in its price range in Malaysia.

I will reserve my judgment until the car comes out, then I'll choose which one to buy. I believe the new MD has what it takes to bring Proton places. I'm very happy with my Satria Neo, first batch but no funny QC problems so far, decent performance and great handling. Definitely better than some higher-priced cars. Honestly I was expecting some Proton nightmares when the car first arrived. Fortunately, so far, owning the Satria Neo has been a memorable experience.

I won't buy one Vios and one City, that's dumb. I would buy something more worth it rather than two entry-level cars. For the price of a Vios and City combined, I'd rather get a Civic 2.0S or Hybrid instead.

Wow, so how do you know that the built, comfort, sheer driving pleasure and performance is better than the New Sedan when it's not even released yet. Amazing. 

Wait till the Sedan comes out, and we'll see which one's better.

But then again, even if the Sedan does offer better performance, comfort, built and driving pleasure, would Proton bashers admit it?

I don't think so........

P/S: Don't misinterpret my post by saying that the New Sedan will pwn the City and Vios, I never said that. I just said that it's best that I reserve my judgment and take a look at all three before passing one.
