At first i wanted to book this car before deciding on Myvi. But the heart does not seems to click since the older car model give lots of problem in the past. I guess i'll just have to wait until VolksWagen come into picture Then only i will decide whether to let proton be in my family smile.gif

The talks with VW hasn't come up to a conclusion yet? (sorry very outdated) sweat.gif Well I really doubt that Proton will give in to 51% of shares to VW. smile.gif

The cars were actually very good...in terms of ride and handling...
Juz the interior design kinda sad...too "European" d... sweat.gif
sweat.gif
this is already 'very' old news la...
It's found in pre-production models...means test cars...
Many times mentioned in the Persona thread...
This I really don't understnd why they wana use... doh.gif
Maybe due to the airbag???
*
I don't quite like the seat... Kinda hard...

Actually don't you think the buttons on the steering wheel is kinda a nuisance? smile.gif

Well, it's not Proton's fault...like ezralimm said, Siemens' the one who supplied it to Proton...
Come to think of it, won't it be nice???
Can outrun many cars when balik kampung...  tongue.gif
Which seats??? The back seats of Persona???
Hmmm...I juz like the mute button...  tongue.gif
*
To be exact the rear seats. I can say leg room is just ok by me but the seats behind are kinda hard. smile.gif

Yeah...or is the insulation good that drivers cannot feel the difference???  tongue.gif

Many have complained about this as well...
Maybe it's due to the foldable function...
*
I noticed the seat can be folded laugh.gif COOL sweat.gif actaully big trunk space so the this foldable seats not really a necessity smile.gif

QUOTE(kcng @ Aug 25 2007, 12:16 AM)
lol
u got try pulling the rear seats up or not?
tongue.gif
then u will know why it is hard
tongue.gif
in neo, the sound insulation from the engine bay is so-so only....

but for persona, since its tune for comfort, the sound insulation from the engine is definitely better then the ones found on the neo...
the engine sound for the persona is much more quieter / nicer compared to neo
tongue.gif
*
Ohh... I didn't try it because i didn't know about it laugh.gif

Bonnet got sound proofing le laugh.gif

I think they purposely use less...coz it's supposed to be a sporty hatch ma, so need to let the driver hear the engine sound...  tongue.gif

It is, especially if u visit IKEA often...  tongue.gif
Will the insulation on the hood cover make much difference on the engine noise???
*
oppps sorry sorry... the hood cover is heat proofing laugh.gif my bad laugh.gif

I didn't really notice the sound insulation in the engine bay because i was kinda like o.O with the space left in the engine bay when the engine is installed.

Coz Perodua is promoting that by installing the insulation pads on the hood cover, it'll reduce vibration and noise intrusion to the interior of the car...
*
That I wouldn't be too sure because hood insulation pads are for the heat from the engine apart from reducing vibration.
