like i said in a different thread b4, for 50k++ pricetag, its definitely sumthin worth looking into if ure looking for a sensisble small 4 door saloon..

but if u ask me, whether id book one now if were in the market 4 a car of this segment, i dont think so.. maybe wait 4 it 2 come out n also owner's review..

i actually dont quite see the point of this thread now.. this is no longer discussing bout the new gen2 sedan, but instead its become a basher's galore

back on topic : 200 orders in juz 2 days is quite good actually if u think bout it.. i guess people got tempted for the price.. pls proton, do sumthin good this time n dont let this 200 n more 2 come be disappointed n ruin ur name much worser than it already is..

same rims, same doors, same bumper design, only wit a different grill and a bit of xtra ass..

honestly, i dont care bout headrests.. a simple change in headrest is not gonna make everyone change their minds bout protons, r they??

things r really starting 2 look good 4 proton.. this persona looks impressive 2 me, lots of kit, reasonable quality for a very reasonable price

i havent seen it yet, i think i wanna drop by proton edar showroom this weekend, n hopefully i could get a test drive of a 1.6 auto.. coz they said the auto in the previous gen2 was really terrible, so wanna test how much has improved..

everythin looks ok.. i like the interior n i really like the instrumental panel the only thing is, i wish they have a better engine n used a different design steering 2 replace that hideous gen2 ones..

n although it sounds stupid, i like the name too persona may sound stupid, but it'll be ok 4 overseas market.. at least the foreigners can mention it properly

me was like u also.. i thought its juz gonna be a gen2 wit a bigger boot, n thats it.. everythin else remains, even the prob also remains.. but proton have taken the effort 2 bring the car back onto the drawing boad, n rework the major probs..

this means, proton has taken us seriously.. proton now r moving 2wards giving us wat we want.. n thats really good, hope this continues, n theyll be ok..

anyway, i think im gonna head 2 the nearest showroom sumtime this evening.. juz wanna have a look at it.. myabe could snap few pics, or better still have a test drive

thats coz its juz the normal gen2 steering, in which majority of people here hates.. it looks so cheapo n ugly, kinda like the steering wheel on one of those arcade race car game machines.. i especially hate those really cheap looking radio control buttons on the steering wheels

wish that theyve used some better design for the steering..

the semi auto used in the savvy is exactly the same from renault.. proton dont have their own amt tech, they juz get it from renault n gave it a new name.. brilliant!!
