Persona 45-55K
Gen2 55-60K Waja 60-65K Otherwise they will compete with each other. But Proton always did this in the past, let see how they do it this time |

QUOTE 1. The first batch should be modified from GEN2 body. Please check the back booth. Open the compartment that keep the spare tire. You will able to see the connection being done. Kereta potong? (sorry dunno how to use quote) |

Went to see the car at PE. It looks much better than in picture. Too bad that only base line model is on display at the showroom. SA told me it should take 2 months to get a car but base line model should be faster. Also need to provide bank slip and EPF slip for loan application. Is this standard now, because last time they only need IC, license and 3 months payslip.

2000 model is the total overall quantity made. Maybe they estimated that more people will buy the base line because it cheaper.

Maybe they hide it secretly inside their factory. They only distribute it out after it was officially launced. That is why some people need to wait before they can get their car.

QUOTE((hypermount @Aug 22 2007 08:37 PM ) Yea, but I would give thumbs up for EON branch after sales service - they seem to be more motivated compare to PE. Just that PE of course will get higher priority from Proton. How about after sales and services. Can you service your car at PE service center if you buy your car from EON? |

8000 may not be a good news. Proton only expecting around 4K per month now they need to push for quantity, otherwise people on the waiting list may have to wait along time for their car (now it's already 3+ month). When pushing for volume, sometimes the quality factor may be get push aside (this apply to all manufacturer) in order to meet the demand.
The good news the Proton plant can meet the demand since it is a big plant. They also phased out the Wira already so there should be enough resource to meet the demand |

Since need to wait 3 months for Persona I think I will wait for the CPS Gen2/Waja. Hopefully they will launced it before next year. But if persona is doing well maybe they will delay the CPS (and maybe BLM too) since they want to make as much profit as possible

I agree that BL is the best buy if it comes with a foldable back seat. Some people may buy the ML just for the foldable rear seat (marketing strategy). In the end people might choose the HL since it has all the stuff and add in a little more on monthly payment (9 years loan).
I'm not really a fan of electronics since I don't think it will last long. It also cost a lot if need repair. The ML should be a better buy if it comes with rear brake disc. |

QUOTE((Azuma-kun @ Aug 26 2007 10:09 PM) ) Even though i really want a sedan, but i will wait until waja cps or waja replacement with cps, persona with cps. Hope they will release the CPS or VIM (maybe both) before the end of this year. |

So late? It may take longer time to get the CPS to works correctly but the VIM should be available soon since it just an add on.

QUOTE( (jVIPERs2 @ Aug 26 2007 10:44 PM)) CPS rumoured to be released by nx month in d Waja Gen2 facelift Next month? Then the price will be slightly higher than Persona. Otherwise it will compete with Persona. Maybe 55K+ for Gen2 and 60K+ for Waja i hope. |

I think it looks quite nice on a Gen2 (saw one gen2 with it). Should be ok if installed on Persona.
