this 30 minutes, 8 hours, 12 hours is really up to you actually...whichever u have confidence with. i used to run the OCCT full blast for 17 hours, then all the sudden crashed...maybe due to some heatwave or something...so shud i consider mine is stable or not? hmm.gif

for myself i will Orthos for 8 hrs pri 3... i think its sufficient already.... 8hrs of non stop 100% load is more than enough...u wont be using ur computer at full load for 8 hrs right? smile.gif
reason i choose pri 3 is because pri 4 will start to make ur pc lag then i cant use it but pri 3 is just fine icon_idea.gif

bro. 530mhz for X6800 on air is kinda rare.
i think ure referring to all the new E6X50 procs smile.gif

show me ur multiplier as well i will check if thats a fsb wall if u dun mind smile.gif...doin some investigation on the fsb wall now...some ppl say fsb wall exist....some say it doesnt, what is actually limiting the FSB is the NBCC (northbridge core clock).... so i m checking out on that now hehe

iinm LDT is used by AMD only...

regarding the NBCC, we will take E6850 (x9) as example

by using 400 x 9 and 450 x 8, this 2 combinations will give u 3.6Ghz proc clock speed but 450 x 8 will have more stress on the n/b.... so when u reached the max of the nbcc then u will hit a fsb wall

NBCC = (default multi/set multi) x FSB

400 x 9
(9/9) x 400 = 400

450 x 8
(9/8) x 450 = 506.25

plz remember to multiply by 4 as intel is quad pump right now smile.gif and do correct me if i m mistaken smile.gif

and what do u mean by heat wall.... if its the heat limitation then i think heat is probably limiting the FSB not the multi smile.gif

this has been proven when we did DI on the same proc....

2.0v....dun crazy la...if u are running air cooling highest i would suggest would be 1.65v only...and its not for daily usage or 24/7...ur computer will die in no time >.<||

if u still having the problem i suggest u to remove ur proc for few days and install back with everything @ default and see if ur proc is dead or not... crazy man u air cooling 2.0v >.<||
