QUOTE(Mastermind_09 @ Jan 18 2008, 05:39 PM) Hi! I just can't seem to run @ 4-4-4- related timings! lulz... hyperx, the noob rams hahahaIf I can run @ those timings I cant up the FSB!! I'm using a pair of HyperX, dunno why! ok, sorry that was mean, anyway, you could tell us what is your current speed and voltages for the rams that you set instead of just the timing though QUOTE(OC4/3 @ Jan 18 2008, 10:53 PM) u hit the fsb wall? chipset wall? how about more voltages? what is the speed you are running at now and voltages, last but not least, what is the temps of the cpu under load? QUOTE(Mastermind_09 @ Jan 19 2008, 04:22 AM) Currently running @ SPD as in EPP #3 (see my CPUZ scrrenie) i think if you would increase the voltage to 2.3v and retry it would work Mem Speed @ 960, vMem @ 2.2 FSB 480 x 7 ![]() I tried increasing voltage both CPU and Mem but no success! 480 seems to be the last! Any suggestions welcome thnx! And TS I would be thankful if you can add me also to the list based on my current results thnx! or alternatively try this settings 5-6-5-15 @gsan, sp2004 and orthos sometimes reads the fsb and multiplier wrongly :S so use cpuz (latest version) This post has been edited by bryanyeo87: Jan 20 2008, 03:37 PM |

QUOTE(alexandros_18th @ Jan 24 2008, 11:24 PM) eh, forgot to put my question in that post xD yeaps, due to vdroop and vdrop ( they are both different things though) the vcore sometimes fluctuates from 1.472 to 1.385. not always, but once or twice after I opened cpu-z. is it normal? the superPI is a bit low don't u think? I thought it could hit 14sec flat or near it.. open up memset turn performance level to 8 or 7, its also knowned as tRD in bios http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=15223226 read my post for a brief and quick explanation of why there is vdroop QUOTE(TCservices_ERIC @ Jan 25 2008, 01:23 AM) hi, i need some pros help me or teach me to overclock this spec, wow, you finally found the thread huh? wasnt too hard right currently: -C2D E4500 2.2MHz (runining 2.2mhz(1.1v)/2.6mhz(1.2v) in stable mode) -Abit FP-IN9 SLI -2 GB DDR2 667MHZ (5-5-5-15) -350 Watts who got this same spec with me or who can try help me overclock to higher n stable speed? thanks !! get a better psu la ._. anyway, its basically quite easy, 1) set 1:1 memory/fsb 2) pump fsb, if cannot pump more then 333, lower the multiplier by 1 3) pump voltage if fsb cannot pass 333 4) repeat steps 2 and 3, and watch for temps, the rest... lazy to explain, someone will help you out haha This post has been edited by bryanyeo87: Jan 25 2008, 02:07 AM |

what PSU? model and brand would be better then 450w, because chap ayam also can put 600w
dont pump voltages first, pump fsb first, voltage is to stabilize the processor speed, and use voltage increments sparingly, if non at all |

Nice coolers. But if theres a choice, go for Arctic Cooling or ThermalRight kucingfight pukes at his gemini2 performance lolzhyper212 is quite alrite, ur using that what bro? another option for rm75 or so is evercool buffalo, lolz... a decent performer |

QUOTE(a1098113 @ Mar 8 2008, 05:49 PM) electron mitigation... but i think its purely normal for an OCer like me.. keep the voltage below 1.5v and/or at the point of death, and then can claim warranty QUOTE(philippecr @ Mar 8 2008, 07:33 PM) haha. Just tried a "Safe OC" with my E4500. from 2.2Ghz to 2.8Ghz. (312mhz with 9x Multiplier) It gives Crysis a smooth game play at 25-32fps gameplay. thermalright ultra extreme 120But when I reach the mission where got snow..... OMG.... it drops drasticlly....... damn Crytek... Will try to OC more. Anybody using Thermalright HSF? I hav a really nice experience using Thermalright with my AMD Barton last time. So, tis time i think i gonna get it again. Which model and wat price it's in? |
