Im not sure whether is appropiate to ask a question about overclocking an e6550. Im confuse about the processor multiplier as im playing with my bro pc, i have change the Power Option to "Always On". In addition, i aslo change the the cpu ratio option and set it x7 but the "Intel Speed Step" option is gone. So i assume the SpeedStep is been disable. Once i go into windows, the cpuz will detect the multiplier at x6 instead of x7 but windows showing the real speed. Here are some of the screenies with the following specs: Intel e6550 Asus p5k-se (latest bios) x2600xt Or i need to change any other options? Attached thumbnail(s)
