Hey all , i have a question
Why i can't boot into windows when i set the FSB into 380Mhz or above ?
Which factor causes me cant overclock over 380Mhz ?
Btw, im using 8X multiplyer to overclock.

1 small question here, after i use manual voltage mode in BIOS setting, there shows me the " Voltage not optimized" like this....and i save it. After reboot, it
also shows the "volatage not optimized". How to optimized it @ 1.425V or ++/-- ??
Btw my board is P35-DS3. tried 2.0v before, it its optimized but others cant. sad.gif

Just ignore it. As long as you correctly set your voltages, that shouldn't be a problem..... it is the same with my DS3, any minor tweaking of the voltages will cause that message to appear....  doh.gif

oh man... biggrin.gif
Ok...2nd....this thing make me very not impressive with my pc....i cant even push into 380Mhz or higher...when using 370mhz bus...i will automatically restart when logged in to windows. I also got +0.2V into FSB voltage and +0.2v into ram voltage. Vcore 1.425V also no use cry.gif cry.gif

What is your setup - rig and overclocking? Make sure your ram is not the cause by lowering the ram divider/speed to the lowest you can set (for now)......

FSB: DRAM = 1:1 loh...wait...i post the CPUZ here later 5mins more

Your rams are running at 1:1 ratio and I see your rams are DDR667. So if you put at 380mhz, the rams will run at 760mhz, which might be the reason why you couldn't OC higher. Go to bios, and set the ram ratio to 2.0. This way, you'll have more room to overclock....  smile.gif

um...got 2.0/2.4/2.5/3.0/3.33/4.0 isit ?
Im using 2.0 already..cant go lower T.T cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

Ouch. That means your OC is probably limited by the rams. 2 options - loosen the rams further (e.g. 6-6-6-18, but NOT recommended) or increase the Vdimm e.g. from 1.8v to 2.0v. However, playing with vdimm will increase the risk of damage. Make sure you have fans blowing on the rams....

Somebody said that all DDR2 rams are warrantied until 2.2v..... dunno true or not....  smile.gif

Hm...isit cause by my ram ? Because 1 using Hyundai chip another is Kingston....sleep.gif...
haih...bad mood....got something happen with my gf... sad.gif
processor/ram burnt nvm...buy again...company sponser.

Maybe, but not because of different brands. It may be because of different overclocking capabilities. If you don't mind burning the rams, then you can increase the vdimm a bit and see..... from 1.8v to maybe 2.0v.....Again, all this is AT YOUR OWN RISK..... errr... maybe at your company's risk....  laugh.gif

Errr..... better sort out your gf problem first la..... OC can come later....  wink.gif
*
haha..okk..im using 1.3875V for Vcore, +0.2V for DRAM, +0.3V for FSB voltage....
try to push now.... nod.gif
I know all this is my own risk laugh.gif laugh.gif
aiks...stil can't...maybe this is my limit already ... hmm.gif
