Thermal Specification <--- izzit tis? is tat means anything over tat temperature i will smell something burn? laugh.gif

Chip most likely will not burn since there are shutdown temperature and thermal thortling.Stock HSF can go to 3.2ghz,general rule of thumb is not more than 1.42v on stock HSF(Not the thin one).Thin one 1.35v is as much as what i like to go.Good luck and report the result. thumbup.gif

Added on March 6, 2008, 7:15 pmcorrection. biggrin.gif the one i have is not E4400, is E4500 with 2.2Ghz speed. Mobo is Gigabyte P31-DS3L.

E4400,i think 3.2ghz is between realistic goal.OC principle is still the same,Max V for 65nm is 1.55v.I think stock HSF can go 3ghz and no more.Good luck.
