E2160
MSI P35 NEO-F BIG TYPHOON DUAL 1GBX2 CORSAIR DDR2 667 The maximum i achieve is 2.9Ghz if i set higher will bluescreen death 22sec 1MB SUPER PI i found out, it is uneccesary to increase CPU voltage.. using auto voltage to OC 2.9Ghz=stable using 1.6V OC 2.9 Ghz= stable using 1.4V-1.6V OC to 3Ghz= not stable using auto voltage to 3Ghz = not stable why people nid increase voltage ar? And i set the timing to 4-4-4-12.. receive the same benchmark. why wan set timing ar? This post has been edited by chchyong89: Feb 16 2008, 10:29 AM |

download cpu-z and tell me For the definition of stepping, this is a good link to read. Find jumpingjacks post in this thread, he defines it superbly http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/235792-28-what-stepping |

i believe stock Hsfs can be used <1.40V on the Vcore. Anything above that is suicidal. This is for >65nm processors. Dont count 45nm procs in this equation.
