eh, forgot to put my question in that post xD
the vcore sometimes fluctuates from 1.472 to 1.385. not always, but once or twice after I opened cpu-z.

is it normal?

the superPI is a bit low don't u think? I thought it could hit 14sec flat or near it..
*
yeaps, due to vdroop and vdrop ( they are both different things though) smile.gif
open up memset turn performance level to 8 or 7, its also knowned as tRD in bios

http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=15223226
read my post for a brief and quick explanation of why there is vdroop

hi, i need some pros help me or teach me to overclock this spec,
currently:
-C2D E4500 2.2MHz (runining 2.2mhz(1.1v)/2.6mhz(1.2v) in stable mode)
-Abit FP-IN9 SLI
-2 GB DDR2 667MHZ (5-5-5-15)
-350 Watts

who got this same spec with me or who can try help me overclock to higher n stable speed? thanks !!
*
wow, you finally found the thread huh? wasnt too hard right smile.gif

get a better psu la ._.

anyway, its basically quite easy,

1) set 1:1 memory/fsb
2) pump fsb, if cannot pump more then 333, lower the multiplier by 1
3) pump voltage if fsb cannot pass 333
4) repeat steps 2 and 3, and watch for temps,

the rest... lazy to explain, someone will help you out haha

what PSU? model and brand would be better then 450w, because chap ayam also can put 600w whistling.gif

dont pump voltages first, pump fsb first, voltage is to stabilize the processor speed, and use voltage increments sparingly, if non at all

*
yeah 1k unit...n plus tax n other cost should be like RM50+-...now day the currency exchange RM3.3 for 1USD.....should be around RM650-RM700...not more than that...well nothing we can do...its a hot item now...maybe the price will be base on demand...

@slayer

i agree, if anyone plans to do massive OC and HCore OC, get better PSus, no chapalang psus should prevail here.

What's your vcore in BIOS?

Interested to know how's the capabilities of the Xigmatek S1283 with penryn. Did you stress your rig with a stress program e.g. orthos? What's the core temperature at load?

You need a cooler for better oc to gain 3.5ghz and more.
if tight budget, get coolermaster hyper tx 85, if gemin120 or best is xigmatech s1283.
casing is cm690 at 230 and you need to add 12cm fans at least 3 more.
your psu needs to be a pure power and not the coolermaster extreme ones.
for rams team elites are quite good and cheap at 195 for 2gb dual ddr kit.
ds3 get the one i am using that design for 45nm, the s series.
