I went ahead to setup as new device (thinking like a laptop) but am regretting it now as I might loose out seamless user experience between my phone and iPad?

Yes, I took 128gb wifi only too .. I subscribe to 2TB icloud for RM39.90 monthly is more reasonable than buying larger storage ... It’s at least workable for my usage as I do not do video editing, etc. Mainly for email, simple excel works and browsing only.

Another thing is if you need more storage, you may consider Samsung SSD T5 external storage. Small and perfect!

just placed my order for 12.9" and apple pencil! hopefully will be hassle free!

at first, i subscribed to rm3.99 then rm9.99 then now to 200gb which rm39.90 .. can share the space with my wife, so buy lowest storage iphone for her but all photos are well kept .. same goes to my kids ipad, 3 ipads all on 16gb only but all photos accessible whenever needed ... all just for m39.9 month ..

I like to keep all photos from old time to now .. so over the years, i can just browse my phone to remember some memories ..

Thanks for the tips. After reinstalling using my iPhone backup, somehow its messy and will have to filter again. For those who did the same directly, you might missed out on 1 year free Apple TV offer. So I’d still suggest new iPad owners to setup up as new device first to experience if there’s anything unique for iPad only, and sign into iCloud, as some of the records appeared on my iPhone (ie Apple TV) , and then if you wish, only setup using phone backup.

I have one major complaint about the magic keyboard. When you are on the keyboard, you are basically limited to landscape app, it sucks when some of the app only support portrait mode.

First Impression in my hand, it feels a little bit fragile compared to my old trusty 1st generation iPad air. Everthing else is OK.
