Question - should I back up from my iPhone iCloud? Are there any pros and cons?
I went ahead to setup as new device (thinking like a laptop) but am regretting it now as I might loose out seamless user experience between my phone and iPad?
Will need to figure it out soon before I start to use iPad more. Thanks for the advice

if you intend to utilize icloud, i suggest signing up the 200gb package. 5gb do runs out like nobody business.
it's cost only USD0.99. safe you tons of trouble. AND you can share this among your family, so everyone enjoy for the price of one. in my case, i'm kidnapped by apple ecosystem. mba, iphone, ipad, watch, airpods.....and i got both my parents an iphone so they can utilize the 200gb icloud storage.

in my case, i didn't install from my iphone backup. i just did a new setup.
but then, if you install from your iphone backup, it should be easier down the road. beside your device is still new, no harm factory reset and reinstall.

When everyone excited about their new iPad pro, my one pula sent to wrong facility, hope can receive by tomorrow... really do not understand and disappointed such big company like DHL also will sent wrong facility.
