Hello, I want to ask some opionion. My Bro want to sell his Ipad Pro 11 (2020) 128GB, Wifi + Smart Cover + Logitech K380 for RM 3K. Use less than 4 months.

Should I grab it or just wait for latest ipad Pro (2021)?

Definitely wait first to see whats new. But even there is a new one, might take some time to be sold here. Can you wait?

for the accidental coverage, according to the sales person in store we just need to pay RM349 to get a new device replacement. However I forgot to ask let's say if 1 year or 2 year from now I need to claim due to damage to my current ipad pro, will the replacement be the same model, or is there a chance it will be an updated model? (lets say they ran out of stock for the old model)

It will be the same exact model with your current iPad Pro. They do keep EOL device for replacement purposes.

Want to ask you guys hor, is it safe to buy an iPad Pro 2020 12.9" from a rando stranger whose office is in lowyat? Found from FB, iPad is brand new unregistered warranty from Apple.

i think better get from official store, lesser risk. because the amount of investment is quite big for ipad pro.

Go read Apple warranty and find out where is International warranty stated? The unit dirty cheap till your attracted to it? Cheaper than reduced price offer by Apple authorised dealers? Anyway decision up to you. Good luck.

If the minimum storage is sufficient for your needs, the Ipad Pro is definitely more worth while getting compared to the iPad Air 4th Gen. The Lidar feature itself is an added bonus.

Can definitely agree on lidar being useful. I’ve used it in lieu of measuring tape almost always just because it’s damn convenient!

Oh yes, definitely! There is lots more that can be done with the Lidar tech besides basic measurement with the release or new apps to harness its capabilities. I was amazed with its functions and capabilities during aerial work surveys with the Lidar camera + system on board the aircraft, which actually cost more than the aircraft itself 😅
