One thing good bout apple is mostly all accessories is compatible to each other. Using trackpad now with my iPad

For anyone who still wondering which iPad to buy

1) IPad Air 4 basically does everything you need except 120hz which i really cant tell the difference. For a cheaper price.

2) Magic Keyboard is a must have accessories because it changes everything. It changes how you use portably. Technically it can replace a laptop. Before I get the Magic Keyboard, I use Logitech K380 keyboard and Pebble mouse. But it is not portable for work, mostly use tablet mode. After MK, I use it in laptop mode more.

My work use case,
1) Excel / Free Apple Numbers
2) Jump Desktop (remote pc) for Windows 10 accounting software
3) Plenty of creative apps for marketing purpose

Personal
1) PC remote gaming
2) PS4 Remote gaming
3) Dekstop web browser using Safari
4) YouTube and other apps like Discord
5) Social media and messenger

4G is a must for worse case scenario (barely touched my Digi 100GB quota) because mostly connected to Home WiFi or Work WiFi. Covid, go figure.

Don't think a cable can ruin your ipad. It is merely a "pipe" to channel current, it does nothing if there is nothing at both end. So it must be the charger or the ipad itself. I've been using several cables i just bought from local stores, not sure what brand, they are just ok

I think the K380 is also portable but of course not as convenient, functional and professional like MK.

How do you feel about the K380 itself without comparing to MK? Thanks in advance.

hi guys, any good recommendation on slim case for the 12.9? i have MK but it's heavy to bring around especially if i'm not intending to use the keyboard

Anyone here uses charging brick other than Apple’s and higher wattage? Any concerns about it?

Am thinking of using just one for ipad and iphone which might be higher than either one.

It’s a very good keyboard with good built quality. You gotta touch the keyboard to feels the materials and weight.

Got three buttons to easily switch between 3 pre-set devices.

The layout is bigger than MK which easier to adjust coming from normal keyboard.

K380 still fits in my sling bag, which makes it portable too. (Don’t want to compare but then u have to bring a mouse/trackpad, a stand and need a good amount of space to lay them out)

On and off switch but it has built in sleep mode. Which is helpful if sometimes you forgot to turn it off.

Don’t be overwhelm by the round shape keys because it still easy to type but definitely have to get used to at first.

Removable batteries for long term use. Two years of advertise life i think?

Overall its solid. When iPad Pro launch a lot youtubers feature k380 and pebble mouse for its portability. Hence i bought them.

Why concern? Now that apple stop shipping power brick with its device, it means they allow you to use any available power brick out there, which is in contrast from last time they said die2 must use original apple ppwer brick

But at least look for a reputable brand la, that has power safety. But high watt charger usually made by reputable brand anyway, unlike those cheap power brick in pasar malam.. i'm using aukey charger for few years already, all good, i won't hesitate to recommend it

hi can i ask how come the back is wrinkled up? exposed to sun or put in bag etc?

I bought ipad pro thinking of substituting it with a laptop. But, i find out it is not as user friendly as a laptop.

1. I use words quite a bit and synology. Realised i can never open a file from words. need to use synology own app which isnt universal at all.

2. i then use words + dropbox. but the file cannot be "saved" on the dropbox directly. Need to either "replace" or save it on my ipad which i cannot retrieve thereafter.

any sifu can guide me?

A very good read to those who is considering to get the latest ipad air or the ipad pro 2018/2020. It is different in my case. I used to have the 11pro and MK and I thought they could replace my mac but they couldn't. My work uses MS word, excel, pp, and adobe acrobat most of the time but ipad os is not as friendly as mac os, at least to me and my work. On ipad os i feel i work slower than mac, made me feel less efficient. Now that i replaced the combo with a larger 12.9 without MK and use it as my secondary display with my mac.

I'm using the 61W macbook charger adapter with a cheap USB-C to C 1.2m cable bought from ninjaz to charge both my macbook and ipad at home. No issue whatsoever.

Feel bad for u. Always practice COD and make sure all ID are signed out before making payment. As of now, your ipad is as good as spare parts only.

I was in the same shoe as u last time but I was using MS one drive and google drive. IIRC, file can be saved directly onto file -> onedrive folder. Give it a try.
