From my experience, if there be delay, it usually caused by delayed custom clearance and our local currier.. if not, it will be on time

To me i just store any file in iCloud, so can switch between mac and ipad anytime.. 1 thing tho, ipad so quick to use.. both my imac and macbook are getting slow and laggy, hence i would use ipad except for desktop type software requirements.. i know my imac and macbook are long due to be updated, but i just refused to spend too much money nowadays for upgrade. My macbook pro 15” was bought in 2013 and imac 2014.. lol.. i bought macbook 12” in 2017 but sold, coz i just feel apple are being too stingy on mac line, by putting minimal hardware but charging high price, while for higher hardware spec need to break banks to buy Tbh ipad is where i feel apple being quite generous, priced decently for a device can be used for professional purposes. Until recently when i see the price for its keyboard.. ayam angry

But i still want to buy the keyboard for the sake of replacing my macbook

I’m tired of charging ipad for too long, so i pulled trigger on this Aukey charger.

Received just now and tested. I can see about 10% battery charged in few minutes. Confirm fast charge no bullshit .. bought at RM169, USB-C to C cable included in the box, quite a nice price huh?

hmm maybe.. but the report is for Oppo VOOC fast charging, 40w.

While ipad is using standard USB-C power delivery, takes max of 35w (usually lower, around 30w). i think we can't imply the Oppo report directly on ipad. anyway, the rule of thumb for battery degradation is the charge cycles, means how many times it has reached full charge cycles. put smatphone/ tablet aside, laptop has been using high capacity charging for long time, even the macbook itself. the charge cycles contributed to the battery health status. huawei and oppo fast charging technology is quite different, at some extend i would say experimental

If that is the case, then most current smartphones is at peril.. note 10, s20, huawei p40 and so on, all fast charger provided in box

Maybe above 40w is overkill, or too fast charge vs not quite big battery, no good. But this ipad is 7800+mah battery capacity, i think this ipad is better chance than smartphones. I did check just now while charging, I didn’t feel too much extra heat compared to using its stock charger.

Well, cable is just like a pipe, to deliver current from charger to your phone. The larger the pipe, more water can flow thru, can say like that la.. I think when the seller put 100w inthe title there, simply means the cable capable to deliver high current. Well there are some cheap crap cables that are not delivering current efficiently bcoz of low quality material, and if it is too thin it might heat up and break.. most of decent good cable should be no problem to deliver a fast charger current.. cables will just that whatever the charger head gives it, and the device (phone/tablet) determines how much current it wants to draw from the charger. For example, the aukey charger i bought is 60w, but ipad pro will only draw around 30w because that is how it was designed.

No apple don’t want to cover bend.. a friend of mine got his ipad bent, went to switch and machines, all refused to take it in. Said they got specific order from apple to consider bent as user fault so no warranty cover

few days ago when someone asked, what are alternatives for apple pencil? i replied that the original apple pencil is no brainer is the only best option there is. now i would like to take back what i said, sorry, i was wrong

back in 2017, i bought ipad pro (older model), 2018 i bought the newer version, 2019 i downgrade to ipad mini, now i’m back to ipad pro. for each ipad purchase, i’ve bought apple pencil with each of them, from apple pencil 1, to apple pencil 2, then back to pencil 1 for the ipad mini. figured that i’ve bought apple pencil too many times, so yesterday i think back, how bad could the pencil alternatives nowadays be, given so many years already. back then, i did try several stylus but can’t find anything that can replace apple pencil. so i started to google around, saw several comparison reviews of pencil alternatives. it seems apple has allow 3rd party company to use their apple pencil technology?

i saw this adonit note being sold locally, so i thought i wanna give it a try, i contacted the seller, lucky enough he was willing to cod so i can test it before buying. so here you can see, i was sold after testing it

pairing? so simple, press the button, tap the ipad with the pencil, they are connected almost instantly, no need to do anything else. i can tell that writing using the adonit note is as fluent as as using the apple pencil. the accuracy is also similar. feel like writing using normal pencil, really. the size is just right, and the matte surface on it makes it less slippery.. its just that this version doesn’t have pressure sensitivity (the newer version does) but i don’t need that, i just use to write note mostly. it also has a clip to put in pocket, so 1 less worry to lost or drop pencil like before. but i wouldn’t really mind if this drop, its just RM225, less than half of the price of apple pencil. another advantage is, can turn off the stylus, or it will off itself automatically when left unused for quite sometime. it sounds silly, but i think adonit make better pencil than apple itself

Its adonit note+ the newer version. But as seng_kiat share above, the pressure sensitivity maybe not applied to all apps.. so then not sure it worth or not

I normally didn’t like to attach the pencil on my ipad. Last time fall many times. Usually put in case or pocket only. Wish the magnet is stronger

While on adonit note, it has pen clip, i prefer this.

I organized paperlike bulk purchase for ipad mini last time. Imo, the screen protector is definitely nice. It sticked firmly, after about 1 year using it, it is not lifted even tiny bit at any corner as normal sp would normally do. No sign of wear tear even.. It come 2x pieces for each purchase, the second piece was never used until it sold my ipad mini and gave it to the new owner.

But in terms of usage, i doubt it is really special as being “paperlike” screen protector.. i would say it is a “very nice and high quality matte sp”.. so if you already know a very good sp brand, probably don’t bother to get paperlike.. but if you’re still searching, i wouldn’t hesistate to recommend paperlike. It is definitely good, but i wish the price could be lower.

Nice, hope there will be some review on it soon. Price is very decent

edit: eh no, the product is actually just the “desk cover” underneath the magic keyboard. LOL.. i thought it was the “magic keyboard”.. but apparently it was just an ipad sleeve that is convertible to be a desk matt
