checked with them yesterday - only magic keyboard for 11” available. 12.9” still no stock yet.

Got my 11’” Magic Keyboard from Machines at Gardens. Not sure how many they had in stock. The 12” was available at iStore in Digital Mall yesterday.

Have to admit, this is probably the best keyboard I’ve ever used with an iPad. I have the tiny ZAGG Folio with my iPad mini and while that is super sexy... this is much more useable.

Cancelled my Magic Keyboard which has been on order at the online Apple Store for the past couple of weeks. Machines is selling the 11” for RM1349. Online is RM1249. Go figure....

Owh online is 100 less? I thought same price 1349?

My main take of the magic keyboard is it allows for gestures and easy access to the bottom of the iPad screen. If you use the swipe from bottom to close apps and to switch apps, that’s very difficult to do with a folio keyboard. It’s very usable with the screen floating half an inch above the keyboard.

Typing as I’ve said earlier is very easy. Trackpad I’ve not had much use for. I guess I’m not used to having it there. I know that when I go back to my MBP 16”, I keep trying to touch the screen. You have to keep reminding yourself what device you’re using.

I’m using this iPad with a CaseBuddy which works very well for protection and also to keep the pencil in place. A must-have IMHO. Glad I got it.

sigh... i messaged istore’s WA and they told me it’s out of stock for all outlets...
funny thing is i think most of the CS doesn’t really check inventory properly. Machines CS told me no stock for ipad pro (2020) but few hours later, I went to Sunway Pyramid they said they’ve plenty of stock.

There were two at iStore Digital Mall on Sunday. Of that I am certain. I wanted the 11” so I checked both....

They are worth getting. Despite the high price. Finally, an iPad is a worthy laptop replacement.

.... although I am keeping my 16” MBP, as I am keeping my iPad Mini with ZAGG Folio. I call em Papa Bear, Mama Bear and Baby Bear.

How much stock they habe at machiens garden? Might want to go there.. but sadly tmrw i have to work in office, only can go Wed perhaps

Definitely not gonna be easy to travel with, so used to the size of my iPad 7th Gen
But watching Youtube, looking at documents, doesn't feel so cramped anymore

I know right.. initially i was intended to get 12.9 inch, but i was in doubt so i proceed with 11”.. i’ve been using ipad mini for a year straight, coming from that man even this 11” is huge. I’ve sold my ipad mini, now i kinda miss it bcoz so easy to bring around

No idea. With social distancing precautions in place, you queue. Tell the staff in the queue what you are interested in, it's brought to the counter so when you finally get to enter the store you go straight to the counter, pay and leave.

You do have the option to browse the store but since my item was already at the counter (and I wanted to cancel my online order immediately) I just paid and left.

After a while, the size wont be a bother lol

Good choice. Bigger screen is great for better viewing. Was thinking of that too but settled for the 11" due to portability.

for iPadOS can I buy this to mirror my screen on a non-WiFi enabled TV ?
