Anime4000 I know you switch from Maxis back to Unifi 2Gbps. Now that maxis offer true 2Gbps package, you think more worth it than Unifi's?

As long as the wholesale network in your area is still under TM's old HSBB then it's still lousy.

By the way TM still using the blue colored not the green one?

It's DEFINITELY NOT ready for WDM and multi wavelength support which allow GPON, 10GSPON and WDM PON to run on its network yet. Not unlike TIME and ALLO they already supplied APC connectors from day 1.

in PON hacking group, there are UPC being used on XGSPON ONT, I try ask them if that multi-wavelength.
I remember that UPC and APC not related to WDM/Multi-wavelength (50/25/X/G PON)
Update on Multi wavelength APC vs UPC

My GPON ONU SFP fix the issue, so, no problem icon_idea.gif

There's a reason why Allo, TIME and the other newer ISPs choose APC over UPC. Even developed countries such as Singapore, Europe and US prefer APC over UPC.

The tilted angle as mentioned provides better return reflectance than the flat UPC when you have multi wavelength signals or WDM being transmitted in the single core fibre.

In the long run when you turn on multiple wavelengths for current uPON + XG-PON + XGS-PON simultaneously the subscribers will start to see the effect with UPC/PC type connectors(BLUE).
